Sabine Moller (*1971) studied Social Sciences (Political Science, Sociology and Social Psychology) at the University of Hanover. From 1997 to 2000 she was Fellow in the research project ‘Traditions of Historical Consciousness’ at the Department of Psychology (University of Hanover). In 2000/2001 she received a PhD Scholarship from the Volkswagenstiftung. From 2002 to 2005 she was scientific co-ordinator of the project “International Traditions of Historical Consciousness” at the Center for Interdisciplinary Memory Research (CMR) at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (KWI), Essen.
Since April 2005 she is Lecturer in History Didactics at the University of Oldenburg. She is currently working on a research project about the historical consciousness of the GDR past.
